Identity
Identity
Identity is a question of trust.
Before access, commerce, mobility, healthcare, or participation, there is identity.
The question is no longer only, "Can we verify someone?"
It is: "Can people prove what matters without surrendering control of who they are?"
My work in biometrics, national-scale identity, and decentralized identifiers is driven by that question. I believe identity should be portable, private, and practical, designed to reduce friction without creating surveillance.
- Identity should belong to the person it describes.
- Verification should reduce friction, not create surveillance.
- Trust should be designed into systems, not demanded from users.
- Individuals and small businesses deserve the same digital credibility as large institutions.
